Rustic Country Serving Trays

If you were like us, we’d love to entertain. Having people over sitting and outside in the spring, late summer evenings by the campfire, fall pumpkin carving party’s, and long winter nights is where this idea came from. We always have an excess of people at a shortage of items to serve them on.  So that’s where I came up with this idea.

 This rustic serving tray have served (no pun intended) so many purposes of our household, that I thought would only be indecent to not share it with everyone else. From wine, cheese and crackers, condiments, and even a display to candles this is has added so much warmth to our household. Hand selected premium grade pine which is then join together at the bottom with a pocket hole jig system. It makes the joints appear to be seamless and adds so much strength that it can carry anything that you can possibly desire.  Having that country look you can even use this rustic tray as a centerpiece for a table.

Like everything I make all the parts are glued in the nailed with the exception of the above sad. It is then sanded down so the joints are smooth and then stained two color of your liking. The finishing touch are the handles that are put on both sides which makes it easy to carry from your kitchen or living room to outdoor area or even do a picnic. Who are Olive and Oscar

Well if the picture does not explain it, I'm not sure what to tell you!!  Jk.  Olive and Oscar are two of our pets.  We received Olive in 2014, and Oscar in 2015 - both from the same person.  Olive is a rather prim and proper lady, and acts like a princess around the house.  When she isn't plotting to kill you, which is not often, she walks around thinking she is better than everyone else.  (She may actually be!)  She was found as a kitten in the north end of Hartford.  You would never know it meeting her as he presents herself as if she is from Buckingham Palace. Oscar, where to begin.  He was found wandering in Southington by a nun as a kitten, then picked up by a woman named Francine.  When we brought him home Olive flipped her sh*t as queeny did not want any friends.  Over a couple of weeks they became the best of friends.  He would growl when eating, now purrs as he is thankful.  He knows how to play fetch and eve...
